Delinquent property tax auctions scheduled

SANTA FE – The Taxation and Revenue Department has scheduled delinquent property tax auctions in Luna, Otero, Bernalillo, Union, Harding, and Colfax counties.

The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to do so. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.

Auctions have been scheduled in the following counties:

Luna County, 10 a.m., March 04, 2025, at Luna County Administration Building, 700 S. Silver Ave., Deming NM 88030.

Otero County, 10 a.m., March 05, 2025, at Otero County Fair Grounds, 401 Fairground Rd, Alamogordo, NM 88310.

Bernalillo County, 10 a.m., March 11, 2025, at Bernalillo County Auction, Alvarado Square, 415 Silver Ave. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Union County, 10 a.m., March 18, 2025, at 200 Court Street, Clayton, NM 88415.

Harding County, 1 p.m., March 18, 2025, at 35 Pine Street, Mosquero, NM 87733.

Colfax County, 10 a.m., March 19, 2025, at 230 N.3 rd Street, Raton NM 87740.

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
