Delinquent property tax auctions scheduled

SANTA FE—The Taxation and Revenue Department has scheduled delinquent property tax auctions in Santa Fe, Colfax, Union and Harding Counties.

The state attempts to collect delinquent property taxes when counties are unable to do so. If the state is unable to collect the delinquent taxes, the subject properties are auctioned for sale.

Auctions have been scheduled in the following counties:

Santa Fe County. When: 10 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024. Where: County Administrative Offices, 102 Grant Street, Sant a Fe, NM

Colfax County. When: 10 a.m. , Wednesday, March 20, 2024 . Where: Colfax County Auction, 230 North 3rd Street, Raton, NM

Union County. When: 9 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024. Where: Union County Auction, 200 Court Street, Clayton, NM

Harding County. When: 1 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2024. Where: Harding County Auction, 35 Pine Street, Mosquero, NM

More information, including terms of the auction sales, is available on the Delinquent Property Tax Auctions page at tax.newmexico.gov . Announcements of future auctions also will be available there.

Registration begins in person at 8 a.m. on the day of the auction and ends promptly at auction time. Bidders must be registered to participate.
